The NANOPROGRESS cluster once again successfully renewed the prestigious Gold Label certification under the Cluster Management Excellence initiative in December. Nanoprogress has consistently held this highest level of cluster management quality assessment for several years, firmly ranking among the elite cluster organisations in Europe.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MPO), together with the Business and Innovation Agency (API), has honoured the best Czech entrepreneurs in the Entrepreneurial Project of the Year 2025 competition.

At this year’s Cluster Day in the Pilsen Region, held on 22 October 2025, we presented the Golden Cluster 2025 award.

Nanoprogress, a prominent member of the National Cluster Association, boasts a long track record of successful projects—having implemented 46 ongoing and completed initiatives. The cluster brings together 59 members and, thanks to its outstanding quality, has been awarded the prestigious Gold Cluster Management Excellence Label.

An innovative approach to textile recycling and the persistent efforts of CLUTEX – Klastr Technické textilie have led to the development of recycled solid boards made from garment waste. These boards are used in the production of clothes hangers and have potential applications in the construction industry.

The Nanoprogress focuses on developing the skills of its members' employees through specialised training. Thanks to this support, not only have hundreds of employees gained new knowledge, but companies have also saved millions of euros and strengthened their competitiveness. 

Klastr MECHATRONIKA has joined a cross-border project to provide companies with new, more efficient surface treatment options for 3D-printed parts. The project outcomes are continuously shared with industry professionals through workshops and seminars, including regular online meetings of NCA members. Notably, the member institution COMTES FHT will expand its expertise thanks to this project. It will become one of the few Czech research organizations capable of characterizing materials using a confocal microscope.

CLUTEX – Cluster Technical Textiles has joined forces with leading companies and research institutions as part of the OPPIK Collective Research project. The aim of the project was to address the shortage of textile and clothing products designed for patients with rare skin diseases and other health conditions, such as allergies, diabetes, and rheumatic disorders.

The Czech Footwear and Leather Association (ČOKA), in collaboration with the Zlín Region, the Secondary Polytechnic School – Center for Vocational Training Zlín (SPŠP – COP Zlín), and the Plastics Cluster, has initiated the creation of a new high school program, "Technical Lyceum – Footwear and Plastics Manufacturing Specialization." The goal is to ensure a qualified workforce and attract the younger generation to study this promising field.

CREA HYDRO&ENERGY connected three Czech companies through a research project. These companies created a digital twin of a water structure, which was provided to the river basin authority for pilot use.

The Association for Innovation in Logistics (APIL) has supported the idea of collaboration among its members, led by KVADOS Group as the general contractor, in a significant transformation project involving the automation and implementation of autonomous robots, including the myFABER® WES control layer, for the end customer SENCO Příbram.
