Bioeconomic Atlas NCA introduces clusters, companies and institutions from the NCA membership base dedicated to using renewable biological resources (RBS) for innovative technologies and products. 

Zlinsky kreativni klastr

The Zlín Creative Cluster was established in 2016. It is the first cluster in the Czech Republic focused on creative industries and currently has 27 members. The cluster consists of representatives of the public, private, non-profit and educational sectors from the creative and related industries in the Zlín agglomeration. Our vision is that in 2024, the city of Zlín and the Zlín Region will represent one of the most important centres of the creative industries in the Czech Republic, especially in the fields of design, audiovisual, marketing communications and architecture. Among our members are also bio-economy-oriented companies using renewable biological resources such as wood for their products. We would therefore like to introduce our member, Egoé Life s.r.o. and its products from the Štok collection.

The Egoé brand prides itself on this awareness. We want our products to enrich all of you for whom living outdoors is an absolutely essential part of life. The season is twelve months long for us.

In all phases, from design through the selection of materials and technological processes to logistics, we take sustainability as a fundamental argument. We strive to minimize the burden on the environment without jeopardizing the stability of the company. This is our view of sustainability. We heat most of our production areas with residues from wood production. We have a boiler in the highest emission class and with automatic control. So we use the residual heat to heat water. We also have interesting heating sources in smaller halls. These are heat recovery units. They take waste heat from compressors and fire furnaces.

ŠTOK Collection

The stock is made only of wood. If necessary, it can be disassembled and folded; you can do it yourself. You don't need screws, glue, or any tools other than your hands. The thoughtful design, which really goes to the very essence of the shape, means that a very versatile piece of furniture has been created. You can use it to make a seating area, including a table, and serve as a bookshelf, bedside table or plant stand. It will create a charismatic furnishing even in very modest spaces such as balconies or small backyards. The collection includes two stool sizes, three bench sizes, and four table options. Only vacuum-thermalized ash wood panels and wood fasteners are used in the Štok collection. More information here.
