Novinka

Representatives of the Board of Directors of the National Cluster Association (NCA) - Katerina Podana, Lubos Komarek and Bretislav Skacel met with the Minister for R&D&I, Mr. Marek Zenisek, on 2 July 2024 at the Straka Academy.

They presented the role of cluster organisations in the Czech Republic and the activities of the NCA, which help to cultivate the cluster environment. They gave concrete examples of good practices of NCA members CREA Hydro&Energy, NANOPROGRESS and Klastr MECHATRONIKA. They pointed not only to the diversity of activities of individual cluster organisations but also to their openness to cooperation at national and international levels. They stressed above all that NCA knows its members well, knows what they need because it is in contact with them and knows how to cooperate well with each other. During the interview, various subsidy opportunities that clusters use in the Czech and European space were mentioned. Professional doctorates and technology transfer and licensing were also briefly discussed as other forms of cooperation between the corporate and academic sectors.

Finally, the NCA representatives did not forget to invite the Minister to this year's Cluster Day, held on 16 October in Brno at Mendel University.
