About FANUC:

FANUC's history dates back to 1956 and is linked to the Japanese city of Oshino, located at the foot of Mount Fuji near Lake Yamanaka, where all of FANUC's unique manufacturing plants, R&D centers and headquarters are located on 1.7 million square meters.

Company founder Dr. Seiuemon Inaba is the co-inventor of the company's digital control (NC) technology. With the invention of the first programmable electric pulse motor with digital control and its application in a machine tool, Dr. Inaba started a groundbreaking evolution - from automating individual machines in the late 1950s to automating entire production lines.

To this day, FANUC is the only company in the industry that develops and manufactures all of its major components in-house, boasting superior quality and reliability along with maximum availability. 100% FANUC for 100% productivity and 99.99% reliability.

Currently, with more than 5.0 million CNC controllers and 1,000,000 robots installed worldwide, FANUC is the world's leading manufacturer in industrial automation. But one thing hasn't changed: FANUC's steadfast commitment to pushing the boundaries of automation and helping customers optimize the manufacturing process.
