Successful clustering: Business models and management skills - EU Clusters Talk, 24 January 2024
How can we build better relationships in a cluster to drive economic development?
A fitting cluster business model and the right leadership skills can help cluster managers and practitioners achieve this goal. They need to look at how the cluster is financed, how it is structured, and how it creates value impact. Additionally, they need the right skills and tools to develop their unique collaborative ecosystem to support innovation and growth.
The European Cluster Collaboration Platform, on behalf of the European Commission, organised the EU Clusters Talk “Successful clustering: Business models and management skills” on 24 January 2024, 8:30 – 9:45 CET and discussed different existing business models for cluster organisations, essential skills for cluster managers, and strategies to foster innovation and creativity successfully.
Speakers included:
- Alain Tubiana, Head of Master in Cluster Management and Regional Networks, University of Strasbourg
- Ásta Kristín Sigurjónsdóttir, Cluster Manager, Iceland Tourism Cluster
- Marcos Suárez, Project Manager, Basque Energy Cluster
