Solar Monitor: Secure control of new-generation photovoltaics

Novinka

The advantage of this solution is its adaptability to various installations, ease and speed of implementation, compact dimensions, and low consumption, which saves the environment.

Solar Monitor s.r.o., a member of the CEDEG z.s. metacluster will present a modular system for controlling photovoltaic power plants with an emphasis on cybersecurity at the Technology Town. The Technology Town is part of Cluster Day in the Pilsen Region, which will take place on October 22, 2025, in Pilsen.

The system facilitates the easy implementation of various automation tasks, such as dispatch control for photovoltaic power plants. A key feature is the modularity of the solution, which makes it easy to adapt the installation to specific requirements, and the ease of deployment of configurations from the web interface of the units, where the loaded values are immediately visualised. The unified output enables automatic resource scanning and integration into RTU without additional programming, even for devices that were not previously available. All this enables rapid deployment. The system is expandable for further control by flexibility aggregators or traders, who can thus use the photovoltaic power plant to control deviations or apply intraday spot prices.

VIDEO PRESENTATION

Membership in the CEDEG offers Solar Monitor the opportunity to share contacts between various companies across the industrial spectrum. Currently, there is an increasing emphasis on cybersecurity, and the conference organised by the parent organisation showed Solar Monitor how this issue is being addressed in other industries.
