Launching of Czech-Slovak CISO Club

CEDEG is launching the new Czech-Slovak CISO/CSO Club - a platform for cybersecurity directors and cyber safety managers of large companies and organisations meetings. 


The first "null meeting" of the newly established Czech-Slovak CSO Club core happened on the 22nd of November 2022, in the conference centrum Truhlárna, Prague. They launched regular meetings and sessions with invited experts of the new VIP group of CSO directors and cyber security managers. 

Excellent VIP speakers, with the presentation about the lack of human sources in the field, new trends in ransomware, and so on, were Daniel ROUS, security director of CEZ group; Martin Vorisek, Head of OIS University hospital in Motol; Marian Videk, IT infrastructure architect in ELI Beamlines ERIC, and Jiri Gogela, senior manager of Trend Micro.

The programme was led by CEDEG, Ivo Riha and Maros Barabas. The leading partner is the Japanese company Trend Micro. The Czech-Slovak CSO Club will meet (from 2023) four times a year; two times in Prague, once in Brno, and once in Bratislava, with a maximum of 35 participants. The Club is a network platform and an environment where participants can discuss new trends and topics and generate suggestions for decision-making of central institutions in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
