Join the Clusters meet Regions Finland, 25. - 25. October 2025

The European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP), on behalf of the European Commission, in collaboration with Merinova and the Regional Council of Ostrobothnia, is proud to organise the Clusters Meet Regions event in Vaasa, Finland, on 24 & 25 September 2025.
This edition will focus on the role of clusters in advancing the green transition, technology innovation, and energy sector competitiveness, with a strong emphasis on collaboration between clusters, regional authorities, and businesses. The event will highlight Vaasa’s leadership in energy technology and sustainability and showcase how regional clusters drive industrial transformation, digitalisation, and clean energy solutions.
Participants will benefit from a rich programme combining policy dialogue, interactive workshops, site visits, and a dedicated pitching session that enables organisations to share collaboration ideas for future EU-funded projects. Notably, ideas presented during the pitching session will be further developed in the upcoming Cluster Collaboration Lab (C2Lab), to be held in Finland later in the year.
The event will build upon the EnergyVaasa cluster, the leading energy technology cluster in the Nordics, which consists of:
-
180 companies, many of which are global leaders in their fields.
-
13,000 employees, with an expected growth to 20,000 by 2030.
-
80% export rate, showcasing the global impact of its innovations.
This conference will provide a highly interactive platform where stakeholders will engage in policy discussions, knowledge-sharing sessions, site visits, and networking opportunities.
