Industrial Alliances: Joint action for a green and digital Europe, EU Clusters Talk - 25. October 2023
The European Commission called into life industrial alliances as a tool to facilitate stronger cooperation and achieve key EU policy objectives through joint action.
The industrial alliances are voluntary initiatives that bring together a wide range of partners in a given industry or value chain, including public and private actors and civil society. They work to make European economies more resilient, ensure the global competitiveness of our industry (including SMEs), support a successful transition to a carbon-neutral continent by 2050 and make Europe fit for the digital age. Concretely, they are created around zero-emission aviation, raw materials, solar photovoltaic, clean hydrogen, batteries, circular plastics, industrial data, semiconductor technologies, and renewable and low-carbon fuels.
The European Cluster Collaboration Platform, on behalf of the European Commission, organised the EU Clusters Talk “Industrial Alliances: Joint action for a green and digital Europe” on 25 October 2023, 8:30 – 10:00 CET, to learn about the work of this initiative and discuss how clusters can get involved.
