Hemp Innovations – Hemp Insulation, Hemp Oil, Hemp Protein, Hempoint

Novinka

Hemp materials can be used in many industrial sectors — fibres are utilised in building insulation, hemp oil in cosmetics production, and hemp protein as a source of high-quality protein in the food and feed industries.

Hempoint, a member of the CzecHemp, is a Czech company engaged in international trade with hemp seeds, materials, and products. Hempoint will present its products during the Cluster Day in the Pilsen Region on 22 October 2025 in the Technology Village.

The exhibit focused on hemp products, specifically hemp insulation, hemp oil, and hemp protein, which make a significant contribution to health, sustainability, and innovation in the food and construction industries.

Exhibit Descriptions

Hemp Insulation
An ecological and efficient insulating material made from hemp, offering excellent thermal and acoustic insulation. It is lightweight, breathable, and resistant to mould and pests.
Hemp Oil
Extracted by pressing hemp seeds, it is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals. It is used in both the food and cosmetics industries and has the potential to support a healthy lifestyle.

Hemp Protein
A protein-rich dietary supplement ideal for vegans and athletes. It contains all essential amino acids and supports muscle recovery as well as overall health.

Benefits and Addressed Needs

Sustainable Development
Hemp grows quickly and requires less water and fewer pesticides than other crops, contributing to environmentally friendly farming practices.

Health and Nutrition
It offers natural, healthy alternatives to traditional materials and foods, supports a healthy lifestyle, and helps address nutritional deficiencies.

Construction and Insulation
Hemp provides an ecological alternative to synthetic insulation, reduces the energy demands of buildings, and helps lower their carbon footprint.

Economic Opportunities
It supports the development of new industries and creates jobs in green technologies and agriculture.

This exhibit demonstrates how hemp products address current societal needs — environmental sustainability, public health, and economic growth in line with environmental trends.

The CzecHemp has long been active in promoting and raising awareness of hemp materials. HEMPOINT often deals with various legislative barriers related to introducing hemp products into practice within the cluster. Without the cluster’s role, such lobbying would not be possible — or nearly as effective.
