Cluster organisations have reacted quickly to help in the coronavirus pandemic. They were highly engaged in supporting with the development and supply of personal protective equipment, respirators, other medical equipment, and vaccines, in providing orientation to their members, in helping the companies adjust to the situation, and in collaborating with regional and national governments. 

In this context, the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, on behalf of the European Commission, DG GROW, organises the EU Clusters Talk “Fitter for the future: Building resilience & preparedness in Europe's pharma and healthcare sectors” on 6 July 2022, 8:30 – 10:00 CEST, to take stock, look at the lessons learned, and speak about the crisis preparedness of the EU pharma, life-science, and healthcare sectors.

Speakers at this event will include:

• Hubert Gambs, Deputy Director-General of Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) and Head of the Task Force for the industrial scale up of COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutics, European Commission.
