Czech Clusters Represented at "Clusters Meet Regions" in Moldova
Jiri Herinek, president of the National Cluster Association CZ, represented Czech clusters at the Clusters Meet Regions event in Chisinau, Moldova.
The event gathered over 150 participants, including representatives from clusters, businesses, public authorities, and support organisations across Europe.
Themed "Clusters as Drivers of Interregional Value Chains," the conference focused on the role of clusters in shaping regional development policies, smart specialisation, and fostering entrepreneurship.
Jiri Herinek, alongside esteemed panellists Linda Marisol Perina from DG GROW, Daniel Cosnita of CLUSTERO - Romanian Cluster Association, and Nicolae Minciuna from the Winemaking Cluster, shared valuable insights on the role of clusters as key drivers in interregional value chains. During Jiri´s presentation on AI-Based Cluster Cooperation in the Danube Region, Jiri introduced an AI-powered platform designed to enhance collaboration between European cluster members. This innovative platform paves the way for new business and development opportunities, strengthening interregional cooperation and fostering growth. The panel discussion was under the supervision of – Dumitru Udrea.
The European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP), the European Commission, CLUSTERO—Romanian Cluster Association, and UNDP Moldova organized the event.
