APIL Summit 2024 became the logistics cherry on top of the year
This year's first edition of the APIL Logistics Summit, which took place on 31 October 2024 in Prague, was an extraordinary success and confirmed the growing importance of the logistics sector in the Czech Republic.
The summit enjoyed huge interest from representatives of the most important companies operating in the field of logistics, with e-commerce also represented. "We would like to express our sincere thanks to all partners, APIL members and participants who contributed to the extraordinary success of this event," said APIL manager Barbora Škrobánek Bočková. "Their active involvement and sharing of experience contributed significantly to the high level of the whole summit, which indeed enjoyed a very positive response."
The Apil Logistics Summit offered 11 expert lectures and panel discussions focused on current trends in logistics deployed in real operations, their demonstrations and experiences of implementation directly from the mouths of customers. There was also mention of warehouse process automation and the future of fulfillment. Among the 260 participants were representatives of leading logistics companies, e-commerce platforms and technology companies.
Important themes of this year's edition were mainly:
- automated warehouse systems
- robotic solutions for intralogistics
- AGV and AMR technologies
- security and its solutions in logistics
- implementation of WMS systems
- scientific advances in robotic laboratories.
The APIL Association would like to thank all participants for their contribution to the development of the logistics sector in the Czech Republic and looks forward to further cooperation in the upcoming projects and challenges in the field of research and development that await us in cooperation with the new members of CTU, VŠB and VÚT Brno.
