Clusters have been recognised as a proven tool for economic development and the important delivery bodies for SMEs.

The project addresses the topic of cluster internationalisation, which the Commission Communication “For a European Industrial Renaissance” identifies as a particular priority. As the internationalisation competences and activities are not sufficiently developed with the V4 clusters, the project will create conditions to unfold and exploit their potential in initiation and improvement of international business cooperation. 
The five project pillars include the initial TRANSFER of knowledge among the project partners to share the project concept and implementation mechanisms. The SURVEY of needs and opportunities will encompass the data gathering on current cluster internationalisation activities, identification of interest in new markets and target destinations demand analysis with specific focus on the ASEAN countries. The joint participation of the project partners and mobilised clusters in the EVENT of the European Strategic Cluster Partnership – the NATUREEF regional matchmaking seminar – will be a practical demonstration of the international activity supported by the European Commission.

The EDUCATION workshop will top the cluster competences building with the participants’ ability to elaborate their own internationalisation strategy. The managers of V4 clusters with practical internationalisation achievements will add the value to the training. The project ASSESSMENT reports will summarise the activities stimulated by the project in the Visegrad countries including the crossborder cooperation and joint European partnerships for cluster internationalisation.
