The Faculty of Management and Economics of Tomas Bata University in Zlín is an educational and scientific institution that provides its students with modern facilities and dynamic atmosphere. The Faculty of Management and Economics (FaME) was established in 1995. At present, FaME with its 3,200 students belongs to the largest faculties at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. It offers Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree programmes and a wide range of work placements and projects in cooperative enterprises, which significantly increases the employability of its graduates in the labour market.
Clusters and cluster policy has been research area for decade developing an excellence centre in the Czech Republic. FaME has established close cooperation with key cluster stakeholders such as the Ministry of Industry and Trade or the National Cluster Association.

The Faculty of Social and Economic Relations (FSER) ranks among the founding and largest faculties of Alexander Dubček University in Trenčín. FSER was founded in 1997. Currently, 1508 students are studying in frame of three study programs in full-time and part-time forms: Human Resources and Personal Management, Public Administration and Regional Economy and Development. FSER realizes wide range of scientific research projects and cooperation with enterprises and public administration institutions in compliance with the fields of study programmes.
The field of clusters’ issues is in the focus of research projects at FSER, which cooperates with various cluster stakeholders and consults the results with institutions and organization such as Union of Slovak Clusters, Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency or Ministry of Economy.

Faculty of Management and Economics of Services provides vocational studies, supplementary master's degree studies, doctoral studies and wide range of postgraduate studies. Beside its educational activity, the Faculty organizes a large amount of annual scientific conferences which became international during last years. Research is a central part of Faculty’s academic life and vision. The Faculty collaborates with a range of external research partners. This includes partners from the business and community sectors, as well as other higher education institutions nationally and internationally.
The Faculty’s main research fields are also clusters and cluster policy. The researchers have the expertise as cluster managers or cluster experts. The Faculty collaborates with regional as well as national actors like Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.

Tenderix, established in 2007, works in areas including programme development and management, analysis, benchmarking, evaluation and assessment, sectorial analysis, market research, as well as economic and social science research. We have accumulated substantial experience related to EU Cohesion policy both at programme and project level. A major focal area of our activity is economic development, SME development and innovation policy with special regards to the Structural Funds programmes available in Hungary. We have completed many assignments related to clusters in the past 10 years.
We have provided expert services in transnational projects on clusters (ClusterCOOP, CluSTRAT, ClusteriX, CENTRAMO, ACE). We provide cluster benchmarking services in partnership with the European Secretariat of Cluster Analysis.
